Hello!

My passion for photography started back in college. Then it was simply a means to document life & memories. It was not until recently that I started approaching photography as a form of artistic expression.

My artistic style & vision were fostered by the time spent growing up in a multitude of countries, including Panama, Colombia, Italy and Taiwan. Witnessing and adapting to different cultures has also led me to enjoy and appreciate various kinds of photography, ranging from architecture to nature. At the same time, being constantly on the move sometimes made me wish I could just hit the magical pause button.

The common underlying theme that I try to convey in my images is a sense of solitude and calmness. We might lead hectic and fast-paced lifestyles, but if we sit back and pause for a moment, we just might be able to enjoy the world all to ourselves.

These days I live in the suburbs of Chicago, along with my wife and young son. Besides photography, I enjoy all things culinary and spending time with my family.
